As we walk into almost a full year of being in a pandemic, I’m sure many of us have noticed the effects of getting less movement and interaction. Drowsy, lonely, groggy. To combat this, I, for one, have started picking up my yoga mat more often to stretch and feel my legs again. Even just 10 minutes of exercise makes such a difference in how our bodies feel! It’s important for us to take active care of our bodies, especially while we continue to stay cooped up in our rooms. And it wouldn’t hurt to support brands that give back to the environment at the same time! In order for us to breathe, we need to wire our consuming, spending habits to help the Earth breathe again. Here are the businesses we want to support:

Wolven: This company focuses on sustainability as its core. They believe in an active and sustainable lifestyle for all and start with making their products carbon-neutral. They track the amount of carbon they produce and purchase carbon credits to offset their footprint! A goal they shared is to “make sustainability sexy”, as it should be.

Indigo Luna: Based in Bali, Indonesia, Indigo Luna preaches ethical responsibility and creates their clothes accordingly. The brand manufactures with recycled materials and biodegradable cassava starch instead of plastic for packaging. All colors are natural and costs are affordable!

Pact: This brand specializes in contemporary activewear basics. Products are all produced with ethically sourced organic cotton and provide carbon offset shipping. Pact has created their own biodegradable plastic packaging, so you don’t have to worry about single-use plastic waste. Their factories are Fair Trade certified, meaning they provide safe working conditions, protect the environment, and uplift local communities.
